The Wild Alaskan: Story Development Outline:

Darren and Kimberly Byler are seen shooting their Outdoor Channel hunting guide show and running their successful brown bear watching tours company, guiding groups aboard their 110’ crabbing vessel, The Alaskan Leader. In these early scenes, their daughter Jaravoni (6) is often with them.


The family returns to their wilderness home in Kodiak. The home is in the true wilderness, a cabin built upon an 80’x80 floating platform. It can only be accessed by boat or float plane. It is situated in Kimberley Cove on a rugged coastline. When a large group cancels their bear watching trip, it brings a strong reaction from Kimberly and threatens financial hardship for the Bylers. Darren brings forth an idea that he has been brewing for years. Kimberly is wide-eyed as Darren describes turning their charter tours boat into a floating strip club.  Immediately skeptical, Kimberly declares that even though it may be legal to operate an adult entertainment business in the way Darren proposes, THEY, the mayor and city council will never let them get away with it. Darren and Kimberly continue
to discuss the idea. Eventually Kimberly agrees to proceed. After all, something has to be done...
